ADAM Audio Sub10 Pro Studio Subwoofer

ADAM Audio Sub10 Pro is an active studio subwoofer that extends monitoring into the low-frequency range for stereo and multichannel setups. Its high-excursion 254 mm paper woofer, Class-D amplification, and DSP-based controls combine bass reproduction with system integration.

  • Reproduces frequencies from 22 Hz to 264 Hz to reveal low-end content in a mix.
  • Offers 325 W peak power and a maximum SPL of 106 dB.
  • Supports balanced XLR/6.3 mm combo and XLR AES/EBU connections, plus network control via RJ45.
  • Provides four-band EQ, three operating modes, and compatibility with Sonarworks SoundID Reference calibration profiles.

Studio Subwoofer for Detailed Low-Frequency Monitoring

ADAM Audio Sub10 Pro is an active studio subwoofer designed to extend stereo and multichannel monitoring into the bass range. ADAM Audio Sub10 Pro combines advanced DSP with network-based calibration for controlled integration into a monitoring system. A high-excursion woofer and FEA-optimized bass port support powerful low-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion. Three operating modes accommodate stereo, LFE, and full-range applications. Sonarworks SoundID Reference profiles can be deployed through ADAM Control.

DSP and Bass Port Design for Controlled Bass

The fiber-reinforced paper woofer works with an FEA-optimized bass port, while the Class-D amplifier drives the speaker. ADAM Control enables calibration and firmware updates, and the subwoofer supports Sonarworks calibration profiles for stereo and multichannel systems.

Low-Frequency Output for Mix Decisions

Extended bass response helps reveal low-end details that smaller monitors may not reproduce. The woofer size and available power support this role in a studio monitoring setup.

  • Woofer: 254 mm high-excursion paper — handles low-frequency reproduction.
  • Amplifier power: 325 W peak, Class-D — drives the subwoofer’s low-frequency output.
  • Frequency range: 22–264 Hz — extends monitoring into deep bass.

Connectivity for Stereo and Multichannel Setups

Balanced analog and digital connections allow the subwoofer to join different professional signal paths. Network control adds access to system configuration and calibration.

  • Inputs: Balanced XLR/6.3 mm combo, XLR AES/EBU, RJ45, footswitch — supports audio, control, and bypass connections.
  • Operating modes: Stereo, LFE, Wide — match common 2.1, immersive, and full-range workflows.

Calibration Controls for Studio Placement

Room response and system alignment affect how reliably a mix translates. The four-band EQ and ADAM Control provide adjustment options, while the published SPL rating indicates its output capability.

  • EQ: 4-band — allows tonal adjustment to the monitoring environment.
  • Maximum SPL: 106 dB — provides substantial monitoring output.
  • Calibration: SoundID Reference compatibility and network-based ADAM Control support room and system setup.
