The D’Addario EXL190 bass strings are designed for standard long and medium scale basses and may have higher tension when used on short scale basses. This can affect both playability and intonation. For optimal performance on a short scale bass, consider using strings specifically made for short scale instruments or consult a technician for possible adjustments to your instrument’s setup.
