All acoustic specifications and mounting dimensions match the standard PRO49Q, making the two models interchangeable in multi-microphone installations where coverage distances differ.

Extended 16-Inch Neck

The additional eight inches of gooseneck length allow the PRO49QL to reach speakers positioned further from the microphone base, covering deep podium surfaces and extra-wide table configurations without requiring a separate mounting adapter. The neck holds its adjusted position firmly under normal presentation conditions.

Cardioid Directional Performance

The cardioid capsule maintains the same directional pattern and frequency response as the PRO49Q, providing focused speech pickup and feedback-resistant performance in reinforced sound environments. The longer neck does not affect the acoustic character or off-axis rejection of the capsule.
