Acrylic gesso. Acrylic gesso is designed for preparing hard and textile surfaces before working with oil, acrylic, tempera or gouache paints. It creates a uniform, matte white surface, smooths out irregularities and prevents mold or fungus from forming inside the canvas. Thanks to its excellent adhesion, it applies perfectly to canvas, paper, cardboard, wood, gypsum and plaster.

The creamy consistency ensures even coverage, reduces paint consumption and improves the adhesion of decorative paints. Depending on the desired effect, gesso can be applied in thin layers to preserve the texture of the surface, or in thicker layers to create a smooth, even base. The working consistency can be adjusted with water, and tools can be easily washed with water immediately after use.

How to use:

• Clean the surface from dust, grease and dirt.
• Before priming the canvas, use gelatin or synthetic glue.
• Stir thoroughly before use.
• Apply the primer evenly. Apply the second and subsequent layers only after the previous one is completely dry.
• Use at temperatures above +5 °C.
