D'Addario PB049 Különálló akusztikus gitárhúr

Phosphor Bronze Single String for Acoustic Guitar

The D'Addario PB049 is a single replacement string designed for steel-string acoustic guitars, wound with corrosion-resistant phosphor bronze over a carefully drawn hexagonal steel core. At .049" gauge, it is typically used as a low-end string in custom gauge sets or as a direct replacement for a worn or broken string on an existing set. Phosphor Bronze has been D'Addario's flagship acoustic string alloy since 1974, prized for its warm, bright, and well-balanced tone. This single-string format lets players replace just the string they need without buying a full set, or build a custom gauge combination tailored to their playing style. All D'Addario strings are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA at the company's New York production facility.

Who It's For

This single string is the right choice for acoustic guitar players who need a .049" gauge replacement without buying a full set. It suits players building custom gauge combinations — for example, mixing heavier low-end strings with lighter trebles for dropped tunings or alternate tuning setups. The phosphor bronze wrap delivers a warm, bright, well-balanced tone that works across genres including folk, country, bluegrass, and singer-songwriter styles. The ball-end design ensures quick and secure installation at the bridge, and the hexagonal steel core provides tuning stability and consistent intonation. Whether replacing a broken low E or A string, or assembling a personalized set, this PB049 offers the same trusted build quality found across the full Phosphor Bronze series.
